This league is the same as our Thursday night league – just on a different night. Same old rubber balls, same rules, you play for the same cup and drink from it at the same party.

NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT NO STING LEAGUE
NEW FOR 2009, We will be offering a No Sting Dodgeball League on Wednesdays in Southeast Portland. We’ve tracked down an awesome new – slightly smaller and much softer – rubber ball (no, it’s not foam or Rhinoskin) that plays much like our standard dodgeball but doesn’t hurt when you get hit!
The No Sting League will utilize many of the current league rules but will all be played 10-on-10, with 4-each gender minimums. The No Sting League will have its own tournament, independent from the Tuesday-Thursday leagues. This league will not be using the Scotty shot but we’re bringing back the neutral zone.
We will be hosting several pick up nights through the month of December to give you a chance to try out our new balls.

One of RSL’s most celebrated dodging teams, the Decepticons earn their fifth title and prove that they are the only team that can win in the Fall. They beat out 51 other dodgeball teams, the largest tournament in Portland dodgeball history to earn their red shirts again. We’ll see you in the Winter season!

Congratulations to the North Portland Children’s Choir who beat out 47 other dodgeball teams to become #1 in the Spring Recesstime Dodgeball Tournament! It was a long road for these choir kids, way to go!
]]>Which team will be wearing read and drinking from this on Saturday? Portland’s biggest and best Spring dodgeball league comes to a close on Saturday with the End of Season Tournament at The Courts in Beaverton action starts at 10:00 am with the Championship game slated for 4:00 pm.
The official bracket will be out as soon as possible once the games are finished on Thursday (you can start bugging us after noon on Friday, k?). Get ready to spend the day playing some fun, intense dodgeball and cheering on all the teams in the road to the Championship! Don’t forget about the after party either.
The party will be at the The Crown Room, doors open at 7:00 PM. Bracelets will be required for entry; each team will be given their packet of bracelets at the tourney. You may purchase bracelets at the door for $5.00.

Are you a bowler wanting to mingle with a kickballer or a dodgeballer wondering how the other half survives? Here’s your chance! In addition to our on-going leagues, Recesstime will now be hosting social events.
