We have awesome news…..Hollywood Bowl is updating their scoring system with flat panels! To kick off the remodel, we are having a Recesstime Bowling Jamboree on Aug 30th! Bowlers will register as individuals for $6 and receive 2 games and shoes. Bowlers will register as individuals and be placed on a team. This is an awesome opportunity to meet new bowlers, shake off the bowling rust, hang out with lots of Recesstimers and enjoy the remodel. We will even throw in a pitcher of beer for each lane!

2nd annual tournament at Delta Park on 9/18
Registration is now open for the first annual Kick for Kids tournament benefiting the Channing Frye Foundation. We are looking for refs, if you are an experienced ref, please email to get a discount code for reffing in this tournament! Games will be scheduled from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and include a round robin and single elimination tournament. All RSL rules will be used with those exceptions listed in the registration link (below).

]]>The end of the season is coming up in 12 short days! This summer has flown by! It’s hard to see another summer behind us but the party will soften the blow! August 14th, join us at the Ponderosa Lounge (right across from the fields at Delta Park) for some fun entertainment (karaoke/dj), photobooth, plus food and drink provided by RSL. All registered Recesstime Kickballers are free, $10 for guests. We’re working on getting hotel room discounts for you tired kickballers who may need a nap between the action on the field and the action at the soiree. Doors are at 8:00 PM.

]]>Winning sure is in $tyle! Dodgy $tyle earned their third red shirt over the perennial powerhouse, 5 time champs the Decepticons in the Spring 2010 end of season Dodgeball tournament! Congratulations to Dodgy $tyle a great team on and off the court! We’ll see you in the fall!
]]>Mother nature was not shining on spring kickball for the first time in league history we had a rainy, swampy and muddy kickball tournament out in SE Portland. With the two powerhouses, Negative Reinforcement and the Reignmakers heading to the finals, the rain cleared up and a new crisp grassy field was available for play in one of the most competitive Recesstime kickball tournaments in history.
With their strong pitching and fleet feet, the Reignmakers got up early on Negative and kept the lead through the 7th inning. Congratulations to the Reignmakers on their first championship!

]]>In what was the most exciting No Sting match to date, the no. 1 and no. 2 seeds faced off in the finals of the No Sting tournament. The games went 3-3 and Entourage dominated the neutral zone to finish off the favored Prestige Worldwide to notch their spot in the hall of fame! Congratulations, Entourage!
